Use Walkie-Talkie Mode on Lock Screen (iOS)

Walkie Talkie mode can now be used from your lock screen.  Users can now activate the Voxer talk button from any screen, including the lock screen.

From iOS 16, Apple introduced new functionality specifically designed for Push-To-Talk communication. This functionality allows users to use the Voxer talk button from any screen, including the lock screen.

Requirements

• Voxer Pro+AI account
• Voxer app version 3.32.2 or higher
• Apple device on iOS 16 or higher

How to use the feature?

• Enable at least one chat with Walkie Talkie mode

  You should see a blue pill in the top left corner of your device. This blue pill will stay active even if you quit the Voxer app.

How to use it?

You can access the "Talk" button by tapping the blue pill:

• from any screen

from the lock screen:

In both cases, tap and hold the "Talk" button to send a message to your default chat.

Please note that all messages that you send will be sent to your default chat when you use the "Talk" button.
